Community Outreach

Along with instruction, AMBA is passionate about conserving Northern Arizona’s natural environment for generations to come. Our instructors actively educate clients about the local trail system, our fragile and complex desert ecosystem, and our strategies to minimize impact. AMBA’s close collaboration with the Sedona Red Rock Trail Fund and the Chamber of Commerce emphasizes sustainable tourism, by offering educational opportunities for visitors and by focusing on programs that help preserve the natural beauty around us. Here are some examples of our team of instructors out doing what we love and growing with the community we call home.

AMBA owners are proud to represent Wheel Fun as the Executive Director and contract coaching. As of Fall 2026, Wheel Fun will be operating 60 after-school mountain bike clubs at AZ public schools (15 in the Verde Valley). In addition to this, our programming includes Outride Fund’s Riding For Focus Program as part of their physical education rotation. Total program outreach will have over 2000+ kiddos riding bikes every year. Other highlights of our journey include the creation and development of 4 on school property bike parks with a 5th in current development. Working with Wheel Fun is a dream come true allowing our team to reach our community’s underserved first generation of trail users.
